AMFI
Association of Mutual Funds in India, the industry body for mutual funds. It is not a regulator.
Example. A distributor gets an ARN from AMFI after clearing the NISM exam.
AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds in India) is the industry body that mutual fund companies belong to. It sets industry standards and issues the ARN that distributors need. It is not a regulator, that role belongs to SEBI. Do not mix the two up, the exam likes to test it.
