Money word, in plain English

AUM

Assets under management, the total money a scheme or fund house runs.

Example. If a scheme holds ₹500 crore across all investors, its AUM is ₹500 crore.

AUM (assets under management) is the total value of money a scheme, or a whole fund house, is managing. A larger AUM means more investors and money are trusting that manager.
