Exit load

A small charge some funds apply if you sell units within a set period.

Example. A 1% exit load on selling within a year means ₹100 on a ₹10,000 exit.

An exit load is a charge some schemes apply when you redeem units before a set period, to discourage very short holding. It is deducted from the amount you get back.
