Load
A charge on entering or leaving a fund. Entry load is banned in India; some funds charge an exit load.
Example. An exit load may apply if you sell within a year of buying.
A load is a charge linked to buying or selling fund units. SEBI banned entry loads, so entering costs nothing extra, but some funds still charge an exit load if you leave early.
