RTA
Registrar and Transfer Agent, the firm that keeps investor records and processes transactions.
Example. When you buy units, the RTA records the purchase against your folio.
An RTA (Registrar and Transfer Agent) keeps the investor records for a mutual fund and processes purchases, redemptions and updates. Names you may have seen, such as CAMS and KFintech, are RTAs. The AMC appoints the RTA, and every RTA registers with SEBI.
